My pool pump has been working fine until we just had a severe storm with massive amounts of rain and wind.
we had a power outage for about 12 hrs. Now the pump trips the breaker when I try to restart.

Hello Drgolfmeister - The first thing I would check are the connections at the motor and breaker. A loose connection could cause the breaker to trip.
You can also try letting everything dry out for a couple days and see if the problem continues. If it does, it may be a bad motor. Send us the catalog or part number and we’ll recommend a replacement.
