Replaced an old jacuzzi brand sand filter with this and haven't had any regrets! Sparkling clean water, easy to purge air valve and simple filtration system make this a great buy. Filled it with less than recommended DE, as most manufacturers make you put in way too much, I put in 7lbs, as it works with the cartridge. Easy! A quality product, and you don't have to worry about hard to clean and fragile grid as in the DE models. Coupled this with a sta rite pump, and it's a charm!
