Is this safe for an above ground pool with a vinyl liner or will it wear out my vinyl?

The Robotic Inground Cleaners should not be used for Above Ground Swimming Pools. The vibration that is caused by the cleaners climbing the walls causes too much strain on the swimming pool walls and can damage the pool. I would suggest the Pool Rover Jr.http://www.inyopools.com/Products/07800005031460.htm. This cleaner does not climb up the pool walls, but does the same job as the other AquaBot cleaners on the pool floor. These cleaners are made for vinyl pools.

I have use a typhoon cleaner for over 20 years in my 20x40 Lazy L vinyl swimming pool. I am finally looking for a replacement as replacement parts are becoming harder to locate. What is the least expense Aquabot pool cleaner that will climb walls and do the job?

Pros: Works well, good $$, great customer service!!
Cons: sometimes it hangs in the corner, until it reverses itself
This machine picks up every thing in it's path. It really takes the work out of pool cleaning, letting more time to enjoy the pool with friends & family. I had a small problem with the vacumn bag, got a hole in it, after the 1st use. I think the bag was dry rotted. BUT the manufacture sent me a replacement bag in less than a week. Good service!!

I already owned an Aquabot Turbo for over a decade with excellent results. Started to show wear and need of replacement parts after 7-10 yrs but worth the investment. I liked it so much I bought another!

I am a swimming pool dealer and installer.This is the 3rd Aquabot Turbo I have owned in the past 30+ years. They are very reliable and do a wonderful job making your pool shine. And they do make the water sparkle.They actually micro clean the water. There is little to no maintenence on this product at all. Even being a dealer, I cannot beat these prices. Pros: Cleans side-walls, cleans the pool to a whole different level than vacuuming alone.
Cons: Can be a little heavy when pulling from the pool.
Prior to purchasing the Aquabot Turbo, I used my neighbors. So, I knew it would work well. The ordering process was a breeze, the price was the best I could find and they were offering free shipping. The product arrived in about 3 days. Opened the box that evening and have used the cleaner to assist in opening my pool. I've had my pool for 7 years and this is the cleanest it's been. It's nice to start the Aquabot and go do other chores while your pool is being cleaned. I should have purchased one sooner.
