Trisha, The step system comes as pictures (not assembled). The weight limit is 300 lbs.

I needed a step system that would allow family members from age 5 to age 80, as well as three Labrador retrievers, to easily enter and exit our above ground pool. I also needed the safety of a lockable gate that nobody could climb up. The Trinidad Bridge Step filled this need. The Trinidad Bridge Step System was so easy to install with clear instructions included. I have a step system in the pool and one outside of the pool with a bridge that joins the two.
The only tools I needed were a mallet hammer and an electric screw driver. Everything else is included in the kit. It took me less than an hour to set up both sets of steps and the bridge.
The bridge step system feels secure and not at all wobbly when going up or down the steps.
