The TVA111A has three terminals. If you are replacing an air switch that has only has two terminals, you would connect the two terminals as you would your old switch and leave the third unconnected.

A Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT) switch has one normally open, one common and one normally closed terminal. Three terminals mean that the switch can be wired with the circuit either normally open or normally closed.
