Hello, yes this a complete unit. The only things you would need are going to be the fitting to connect this to your pvc. Which would be purchased from a hardware store.

Is the Praher SM-20-2 EXACTLY like the SM-20-1 ? CAN I PULL OUT THE OLD -1 AND REPLACE IT WITH THE -2
WITH THE EXACT ORIENTATION OF ALL PIPES.? WILL I HAVE TO MODIFY ANY OF MY PIPE RUNS?
IN ADDITION TO A "WASTE" PIPE, THERE ARE 4 OTHER PIPES ENTERING THE UNIT.
POOL WATER INLET AND OUTLET ARE 2 " PIPES. WHILE THE FILTER INLET AND OUTLET PIPES ARE 2-1/2 ".
IS THE BODY AND THE PORTS OF THE SM-20-2 IN EXACTLY THE SAME SIZE AND ORIENTATION AS THE
SM-20-1. ???

Hi, Thomas. Yes, you can replace the SM-20-1 with the SM-20-2. However, this specific valve can be oriented to fit any application and filter that why it does not have the pre-plumbed connections.

Which valve works with the Sta-Rite S7S50 sand filter? Does it come with the union halves that connect to the filter directly?
