Hi Perry, This is the replacement salt cell for the Crystal Pure 20,000 Gallon Salt System and this cell only works on the Crystal Pure Salt System. If you are needing an entire salt system than you would the Crystal Pure Salt System here. If you are trying to use this salt cell on your current salt system then it would not work unless you have a Crystal Pure Salt System.

I bought the CrystalPure 20k SaltSystem 2 years ago. There was a problem with the cell and It was replaced for free after just one week of usage. Now, two years later, the cell is giving me a low salt reading and is not producing salt. The pool salt is at 3100 and the system is reading 2100. I have a 6600 gallon in-ground pool and I always keep the control at 50%.The cell was cleaned a couple of times last week. How long is this cell supposed to last? What do I need to do to make it work again?

Rocio, The cell should last 3-5 years on average. Remove and inspect the cell for scale. If the cell is scaled, follow the directions in the manual for cell cleaning. Re-calibrate the system by moving the main switch from “AUTO” to ‘SUPER CHLORINATE” then back to ‘AUTO” to make the memorized salt reading the same as the instant one. If the pool has the proper amount of salt and the two LED’s are still illuminated, the cell may be depleted and needs to be replaced.
