Hi, Bill. They are a few things can prevent a heat pump from starting up, in order to find out why you will have to have a technician inspect the unit.

My Aqualcal model TT120 pool heater runs, but will not heat.Panel shows 112 degrees water temp no matter what desired temp I set. I measured the resistance of the temp probe at 5 kohms. whrn I disconnect the probe leads, the display shows "PO".When I jumper the to inputs to the board the display shows "Pc". I removed the thermostat and put it in hot then cool water and measured the resistance. 77 f = 12 kohms 108 f = 6 kohms What do you think ?

Good Morning John, Hope you are doing well. This sounds like you need a new temp sensor for the unit. The TT120 would use the STK0021 - Thermostat Kit. Thanks Robert Brown Tech Support AquaCal

SIMPLE TO REPLACE AND FAST DELIVERY. DIDNT KNOW THE OLD ONE WAS BAD UNTIL IT STARTED LEAKING. NOW I KNOW TO CHECK THIS OCCASIONALLY TO PREVENT MORE COSTLY SENSOR REPLACEMENT OR MORE
