Our K2 Series Winter Cover by PureLine is our mid-level cover which has the strength and durability of covers costing twice as much. Rugged polyethylene scrim and coating means this cover can withstand winter's worst. PureLine covers are U.V. protected so they will last for years in direct sunlight. The cover's black underside retards algae growth and the heat-sealed seams mean a crystal clear pool next spring.
The K2 cover is held secure on your pool with a heavy-duty vinyl-coated cable and tightener that is anchored by rip-proof metal grommets. This cover is backed by a 15-year warranty (2 years full, 13 years pro-rated rated).

What is your pool size? Rule of thumb for covers for above ground, if you have a 24 round pool you order 28ft winter cover. You need to order the size above your pools size.

Is this cover waterproof? Note: I want to keep the rain water from entering the pool.

Yes it is. In fact my water level dropped over the winter by about 6". But don't expect this cover to last 15Yr. Throw it away after 3 years or it will be leaking through and most likely rip. You just can't find a good long term cover so buy cheap and throw them away.

So far (just put it on in the last 3 wks), it's exactly what I asked for!! It requires 2 people but myself & my 74 yr old mom accomplished it! Having the instructions to assemble the winch was awesome as it wasn't provided with the leaf cover I bought as well.

For an economy cover it has worked great with no leakage or tears. Will order another when this one runs it's course.

It is a good winter cover and a great price, however, the tightener is cheaply made and broke as I was tightening the cable for the 1st time. The cable also broke within a month that the cover was on my pool. Luckily I had an old cable and tightener saved from a previous cover that help me out this winter. I would have given 5 stars but the cheap tightener and cable dropped it.

This is a great extra large pool cover. The wire tightening tool is less than ideal but it is standard with all pool covers.
