Our K2 Series Winter Cover by PureLine is our mid-level cover which has the strength and durability of covers costing twice as much. Rugged polyethylene scrim and coating means this cover can withstand winter's worst. PureLine covers are U.V. protected so they will last for years in direct sunlight. The cover's black underside retards algae growth and the heat-sealed seams mean a crystal clear pool next spring.
The K2 cover is held secure on your pool with a heavy-duty vinyl-coated cable and tightener that is anchored by rip-proof metal grommets. This cover is backed by a 15-year warranty (2 years full, 13 years pro-rated rated).

My above ground pool winter cover seems to rip every year. Do I have bad luck or am I doing something wrong?

Depending on the location of the tears, a low water level may be the cause of your issues. The water level should not be lowered more than 12". If the water level needs to be lowered more, you will need to purchase a larger sized cover to compensate for the water loss.

The pool cover is of good quality, and shipping was fast and well boxed. The reason I didn't give it more stars is because the description stated that it was Hunter Green and it is not. It is a very very dark, ugly, not really even green color. It looks like a matt dull black. I thought it was black until my husband showed me the reverse side, which is a dark shiny black. It is no shade of green I've ever see, and certainly not Hunter Green, as I thought I was getting. I actually paid more then I had to for a pool cover, because I wanted Hunter Green. My kitchen and living room are an open floor plan that is all large windows, and a glass slider door, that all look out into my yard. The pool is very large, and surrounded by the beauty of nature, with lots of green trees and grass. The Hunter Green cover we always have had, blended in nicely with natures scenery, so that the pool wasn't a giant eye sore, that you can't help but see from every window anywhere in my house, including my bedroom. I'm very upset and disappointed. Super frustrated!

This particular pool cover is exceptional. It is over sized, which means that it overlaps the sides of the pool. It has plenty of tie down space. It is durable during the cold winter months.
