The PureLine K2 series winter cover is our mid-priced cover which has all of the strength and durability to insure years of winter protection. Heavier woven polyethylene scrim and coating make our K2 cover strong and able to withstand wind, sleet and snow. The K2 cover is U.V. stabilized to protect it from the harmful effects of the sun. It features a black underside to retard algae growth and heat sealed seams to insure a crystal clear pool next spring.
The PureLine K2 cover comes with loops every four feet to secure water bags and corner grommets allow for extra tie down in windy areas. The cover is 5 feet longer and wider than the pool size and it is backed by a 15 year warranty (2 years full rated).

what is the thickness of the pool cover

Hello. The Pureline Winter Cover PL8960 has a thickness of a few millimeters. More important to the strength of the pool cover is the thread count (scrim) per square inch. The PL8960 has a scrim of 13 threads X 7 threads per square inch.

The product is a standard cover, 12years, as good as any you'll find in the store that has a 12year warranty. The price is much better.

Pros: Watertight, dark underside.
Cons: Some of the straps are inconsistent in loop size.
Serves the purpose of covering a pool for the winter. Dark underside is a plus and water tight. INYO Pools has always been great in exceeding delivery expectations. Ordered on a Sunday, said delivery in 7 to 10 days and received it less than 4!!! Jsut in time for my weekend closure!!!
