In regards to the listed overall length and width of a safety cover with step, do those numbers take in account the step measurements? If I order a 20x40 center step section cover, will the actual pool portion of the cover be 20x36 with the last 4 ft. being the step section?

The listed length and width of a cover does not take in account of the 4x8 step section. For example, if you purchase a 20x40 Center Step cover, the main portion of the cover will be 40 feet long with a step section that adds 4 ft. on top of that. If your pool's step placement does not match one of our stock options fill out our >Custom Safety Cover Form. We'll provide a quote for a cover made to your specifications.

If my pool size does not exactly match one of the covers you have listed, is it possible to use a cover that's close to its size and shape?

We highly recommend when it comes to safety covers that if your pool size or shape is not listed in the Cover section that you complete a Custom Safety Cover Form. This is also used for pools that do not have the required 36" deck width the full circumference of the pool. As well as if a pool has non-removable items within 18" of the pool deck.
