No, the solar cover does not come with an overlap. A solar cover is designed to sit on top of the water's surface and fits on the inside perimeter of the pool wall.

This is a good product for the first year and a half, then it starts leaving blue round things in your pool to clean, then they don’t warranty it because it’s been in the sun
