If there is a 6400as system in place. I want to replace with new one. Do I have to cut current fiber optics to do so?

Hi Mike, It is not necessary to cut the cable if you're replacing this part. However over time the cable at the port can become dull allowing less light to pass through making the lighting quality diminish. If this is happening then I would recommend cutting the cable.
