This true union's easy entry, removeable body allows you to remove the body for visual inspections, repairs, or cleaning, making it easy to change the body or spring tension. Will the 5lb spring work on my pool/spa most values that I have looked at have 1/2lb spring. This is the only valve I found that the body will fit in the line using old unions.

John, A 5lb Spring Check Valve can work if your pump can generate enough water flow.
