Can I switch to a salt chlorine pool if I am using regular chlorine right now?

Yes, you would simply remove your current chlorine source, install the appropriate sized salt chlorine generator then add the right amount of salt and stabilizer.

Rock salt is not an option. Rock salt has entirely too many impurities and could cause some issues with the pool water, or pool surfaces.
