This is the replacement salt cell for the Hayward Salt & Swim. The Salt & Swim replacement cell is available in a 6-month version for northern
climates and a 12-month version for pools that are open year-round. Both come with a control unit that automatically Salt & Swim cells are interchangeable, so once the unit is installed,
you may choose either a 6-month or 12-month replacement cell.
Can you clean the 12 month cell and reuse it?

Hi Suzanne, These cells are only meant to last 12 months and then you will need to replace it. However within the 12 months it will need to be cleaned and then reuse it.

discountinued by the manufacturer, this is a great salt cell at a really good price. arrived quickly. will probably buy another at this price and save a year
