Is this pump compatible for Stay-rite pump 1 hp ?

The Power-Flo LX 1HP 115V Single Spd Pump w/ Twist Lock Cord (SP1580TL) is compatible with the Pentair Dynamo 1 HP w/ TWL Cord (340316).

Does this pump also come in 1.5 or 2.0 hp motors. Thanks

The PowerFlo Lx does come in a 1.5 hp model being models SP1580X15 which has the 6 ft. standard cord and the model SP1580X15TL which has the 3 ft. twist lock plug. The PowerFlo does not come in a 2 hp model.

Is this compatible with a Clearwater 19" sand filter?

Yes, this pump should work for your filter but if you are using the current unions and attempting to connect two different manufacturer designed threads to each other then that will not work. You would need to use standard fittings and plumbing whether flex or hard to connect the pump to the valve.

I purchased this product and it does not have an on/off switch. It looks like the entire housing where the switch should be is missing? My pool is hardwired to a timer. Is it ok to use as is?

Marc, The PowerFlo LX does not come with a switch. You can run the pump on a timer or you can have a light switch installed to the plug that the pump is connected to.
