I need to replace the pool pump,and I am confused by some of the comments here. Can I upgrade to the Hayward Max-Flo VS (SP2303VSP) and still use my controls for the pool specifically the as people mention the salt generator is an issue. I have Hayward Super ll 1 1/2 hp, Hayward Aqua Pro-Logic PS8 , Hayward Goldline GLX - C15 Salt cell, Hayward Heater H400, Jetted, tub with waterfall and lights, pool waterfall and 2 fountains, lights, 6 sealed heat solar panels. Suggestions/direction?

Kokko, yes, you can use the Hayward Max-Flo VS Variable Speed Pump - SP2303VSP with the Hayward Pool Products ProLogic PS-8 Controller Only. You should still be able to use all of the normal controls for the waterfall, lights, and fountains.

Want to by one but Hayward shows you aren't an authorized dealer and we will have no warranty. Is this so?

Fred, yes, we are indeed a Hayward authorized dealer and have been selling their products for many years. There would be no issue with the warranty on the ProLogic PS-8 Controller Only - PL-PS-8.
