I currently have an AO Smith 1.5 hp single phase, 230volt pump. I have problems priming because the pump is uphill from the pool. Could I use the attached pump to replace it?

Hi, Bill. You will first have to make sure that your system is able to handle the output flow and that you're able to supply enough water to prime this pump with it having 3" ports.
