Enjoy the relaxing sound and visual beauty of the graceful arcs of water created by Jandy Deck Jets. These jets allow you to add an elegant pool water feature at a great price. Installed in your pool deck, they shoot sparkling arcs of water into a pool or spa. Each jet will create an arc that extends 5' up and 5' out at 7 GPM. The jets can be installed in virtually any pattern and feature swivel nozzles that are adjustable 360°. This set of four jets includes pressure testing plug and polished bronze composite coverplates for a sophisticated, unobtrusive look. The covers are a plastic material.
Jandy Deck Jets require 7 GPM per jet. You can tie these jets into your main pool pump or plumb in a separate, dedicated pump. Each jet is 2.5" in diameter.

What kind of pump is needed if you want to run these jets on a separate system? Are there advantages to doing this? what are they? Do you have the pump? How much is it? Thanks!

The Deck Jets require 7 Gallons Per Minute (GPM) per jet so if you are going with 4 jets than we would recommend a pump which could output 28 GPM For almost all applications the Hayward 1/2 HP Super pump would be plenty strong enough for the 4 jets. You may view this pump through the following link http://www.inyopools.com/Products/02201115001130.htm The benefits of going with a separate pump would be that you would be able to operate your jets independently from your main filter pump, meaning that the jets will not come on every time the filter pump comes on or you can turn on the jet pump without running your entire pool filter system. Can the Jandy Deck Jets be installed with fiberoptics? Also, If we installed all 4 jets, can we turn one or two off and run the other two?

The Jandy deck jets cannot be installed with fiber optics. I've had these for 11 years now, working great, never had any problems. I definitely recommend these if you want to turn your pool into a beautiful water feature. If your pump is powerful enough (I have a 1.5Hp Hayward Superpump) you can make them go as high as you want. My 4 throttled wide open will shoot over the pool, atleast 20' while still running the skimmer. I had mine all plumbed individually at the pump with 3/4" PVC individual runs and a manifold made up with four 3/4" PVC valves glued in a row (easily bought at any store) and connected to a 1.5" common PVC Hayward or Jandy Valve and you cap the other end of the manifold. I did it this way instead of their recommendation of plumbing them all in a continuous pressure loop. My equipment is all 5' below grade and I didn't want to take a chance of having any problems with flow and height. This way I have total control of all 4 individually. SO GLAD I had them do it this way during my new pool install. Now I can control each one separately, turn 2 off, etc.. The Hayward (or Jandy Valve) is topped with a valve actuator so I can remotely turn the whole manifold (of however you set them) on or off by remote with my Hayward Aqua Pod Remote that runs with my Hayward Aqua Logic. If you want something beautiful to add to your pool to make it not booring and don't want to spend a fortune on Laminars, you have to buy these. The bronze deck caps that are included are very elegant as well. They'll match or compliment any deck color as well.

Once we got these set up they absolutely made the pool. When the jets are on, it makes the pool a nice water feature to sit and enjoy the sound. Great add to the pool.

This is a very good product and very easy to install. The jet can be installed on the deck or in the tile line. The brass finish is a nice touch. Delivery of the product is timely and costs less than the local pool supply. The jets are easy to adjust with just a screw driver. The jet can be plumbed in a loop for uniform flow between jets or each jet can be plumbed with its own 3/4" valve. Inyo pool products provide an economical source for many pool products. Payment is also very easy.
