Is this the newer version pump with the AO motor? Does it also have the larger screen and the battery backup on the controller?

I called into Jandy ( which is now Zodiac ) to ask. All of the motors are AO Smith. As for the screen and battery backup. The new ones are shipping out now. Which means there are still some of the older ones in warehouse. There are a couple ways to tell. First would be to get the serial number and call Zodiac. The other he said was that the the newer models have yellow buttons, while the older have grey

I'm replacing an older Jandy Stealth pump and want to upgrade to an energy efficient model. I have a new Aqualink RS controller (firmware T.1). Which pump is more energy efficient. The VS-FHP2.0 or the JEP2.0 (Epump)? thanks

Hello, The efficiency of a variable speed motor will ultimately depend on how it is programmed. The lower the rpm's, the more money you save.

I have a Jandy Stealth Single Speed 1.5HP pump. Which of your variable speed pumps will provide a plug-in replacement with little to no plumbing movement? Thank you.

Please review the Jandy E-Pump Variable Speed 2.0 HP Pump - VSSHP270AUT It will require at least 2" plumbing and 230 Volts for connection. The horsepower will range from 0.25 to 2.27HP you are able to control the flow rate accordingly by reducing the RPM settings to the correct flow for the design flow rate of the filter.

Which pump is better and what is the difference in price between the Jandy VSSHP270AUT and the Jandy VSFHP270JEP?
 Reply

A  Answered on 8/11/2020 by InyoPools Product Specialist Lennox H.

Hi, Jasmine. The difference between both models is the performance and controller type. The Jandy VSSHP270AUT is design to be used with Jandy Automation and will move more water than the Jandy VSFHP270JEP which can be used as a stand-alone pump.
