The water was leaking between the bulkhead fitting and the tank. I purchased the o-rings and they arrived when I expected! I also needed 450lbs. Of sand and 150lbs of pea gravel. Remove the drain plug and I opened the tank by removing the top to allow it to dry out. I switch the valve to recirculate so the pool water didn't stagnate. With the sand still wet after days of being opened it clogged the hose several times. My shop vac has 1-1/2 inch hose. I don't recommend using the smaller hose. After a foot into the sand i removed the upper water line inside. There is a small hose connecting the intake water to the top area of the tank, mine was broken. Plan on replacing the line. It's dried out after being in use for 11 years. I used a narrow shovel to remove the wet sand. To my surprise, there was no pea gravel at the bottom. Be very careful using any type of metal in the tank, the laterals can break easily. Once I got down to the laterals I removed them then remove the pipe they were connected to. The laterals should have been covered by the pea gravel. Once empty I attempted to remove the nuts holding the bulkhead fittings. I could not get them removed. Since I didn't want to pay for the special tool I read others have been successful using a 3-1/8 inch wheel bearing socket. It worked perfectly for cheap. Once I got the fittings off I cleaned all parts. The o- rings were a perfect fit. When reassembling pay attention to the arrow on the outside of the fitting, the mark needs to be in the up position. The tank is round and the fitting is concave. The mark is to align the fitting to the tank. If you need to hold onto the fitting while tightening I used an adjustable oil filler spanner wrench. Don't forget to lubricate the o-rings with silicone lubricant. Before the final tightening of the fittings, I loosely mounted the sand filler to the system for alignment purposes. Tightened it all up, reinstalled the piping for the laterals and installed the laterals. Note, fill half the tank with water to help slow the gravel and sand hitting the laterals. When installing the upper pipe, cover opening with duct tape to prevent sand from entering the pipe. Once all done I had no leaks! The pool is cleaner than it's ever been.

I ordered the (2) 2" O-rings from INYOPools.com and disassembled the gauge/housing. Replaced the O-rings and lubricated with some silicone and put it all back together and no leaks! Thank you for easy access to replacement parts!
