Cleaning is EasyWhen it’s time to clean your Sta-Rite Posi-Clear filter, nothing could be easier. The Posi-Clear features tool-free tank disassembly for fast access to the filter cartridge. Simply remove the Posi-Ring™, lift the tank lid and spray-rinse the cartridge with your garden hose. Cartridge filtration also eliminates backwashing, which wastes chemically treated heated water.

This product is by far better than I expected, the top is very easy to open and the cartridge works great .

Q:	Are there special considerations to take into account when sea water is used?
A:	The filter manufacturers do not have any ratings for use of these filters in sea water. Therefore, if the filter were to fail and it was determined the cause of failure was use in sea water, the warranty would not be honored.
