Time to Replace Your DE Grids?
Our DE Grids are used on the most common pool filters including American Products®, Pentair®, Hayward® & Pac-Fab®. Most DE Filters will require 7 Full Grids and 1 Partial Grid. Typically DE grids last about 5 years so if it has been longer than 5 years then now is the time to replace your DE grids.
Things to Consider When Replacing Your DE Grids
Note: Collar has open slot (2 notches). Length is measured from one end of the grid to the other (collar not included).

at the top of the 8 filter grids, there's a cloth attachment in the shape of a tiny banana, or dick. What is this part. It's at the top of the grid assembly for DE filters. Mine has a hole in it and allows DE to enter pool Shaped like a pecker

I have an old Hayward Micro Clear D.E Filter model IS-DE2400-95
I need to know what filter element I need to replace all my element. There are 24 Sq. ft. or the 36 Sq. ft. ? Which one will fit my filter? I need to replace all of them. I do not want to replace just one or two and in one or two years or next clean up I another one to replace. Thank you in advance.

Hi, Bob. Based on your model number, the 24 Sq. Ft. Grid Pack (7 Full & 1 Partial) - FG1002PACK is the correct grids. However, to be sure you can follow the steps provided in our How to determine D.E. Filter Grid Size guide.

have a 'old' Anthony pool filter mod.#ASDV336 has 8 fullsize grids w/bottom center manifold length 18'' . can you assist with correct replacements?

The first grid delivered had a short connection end. INYO Pools immediately sent a replacement which fit fine. They did not even require me to send the original back. Excellent customer service.

After 8 years needed to replace our filter. The prices at INYO was cheaper than our pool supply company. Only difficulty was trying to figure out which ones we needed...but the guidelines given on INYO really helped to figure it out. Received the parts and they worked perfectly.
