Yes, this ladder is designed for use on an above ground, flat bottom pool and can be mounted on a deck with a maximum height of 60". Refer to this owner's manual for specific installation instructions:

Pros: Easy to install, sturdy
Cons: sqishy steps if you're around my weight
The ladder seems to be a quality product. My concern is that when I set on the ladder I can feel the plastic depressing under my foot maybe a half an inch so it doesn't feel as solid as my last ladder. Weighing 205 maybe I should have purchased a hevier duty ladder.
