Blue Star can be used as a vertical or horizontal discharge pump by simply rotating the wet end. Suction and discharge are threaded inside for fittings and outside for unions 2” buttress / 1½" NPT threads. Available in 1 HP and 1.5 HP with 6 ft cords. 110V AC. Made in USA.
Is there anyway to know the gph this pump puts out? Looking to use on an above ground sand filter. (150lb) intex came with a crappy 1500gph filter so looking to destrominate this little 16' x 48" pool. How much more powerful of a system would this be?

Hi Jerry, It depends of how much resistance or feet of head your system has, but the Blue Star 1.5 HP 115V 2 Speed Pump can the same or even 2-3 times as much water as the Intex Pump you have.
