The clamp I'm trying to replace is an SP0580B. Is this the correct replacement clamp?

Hi Frank, The Clamp w/ Screw, Nut and Washer (SPX0580B) will be the correct item. I would also recommend replacing the Hayward Astrolite Lens Gasket (SPX0580Z2)

I purchased the stainless rim to replace a plastic rim and the clamp is to small (bolt doesn't reach). Does this replacement clamp fit the replacement stainless rim?

Hi, Amanda. It cam depending on the model of the light fixture you have. The clamp also has to be installed a specific way in order for it fit.

I have rust coming from my light I opened it and it seems to be the clamp why would it rust.It should be stainless steel what's my next move change the clamp

Hi, Ken. Under normal conditions, stainless steel will not rust, however, the condition in which it's in can cause it to rust. If the clamp is badly rusted I would recommend replacing it.
