What is the difference between item 6652-10 and item 6652-10A?
 Reply

A  Answered on 7/17/2010 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

The 6652-10A is the Neverlube diverter which never requires lubrication, if you have a black valve then you need to go with this one. The 6652-10 is the standard diverter which requires lubrication if you have the gray valve then is the current diverter you have although you can upgrade to the black neverlube style. Either diverter can be purchased here   >http://www.inyopools.com/pool_parts_jandy_standard_never_lube_valve_parts.aspx

Do i need a red grease plug for a jandy valve?

Hi, Susan. You will only use the red plug if you're converting a Lube style valve to a NeverLube style valve.

The grease plug broke off my old gray Jandy 3-way valve. A piece of the plug is stuck inside. How can I remove it? I am planning on replacing the inside parts of the valve with the Neverlube Diverter Kit with o-rings. How do I put the red plug in? Please see photo to confirm that I am getting the correct kit. Thanks!

Hi, Julia. Based on how it broke will determine how it can be extracted. Once you've remove the broken piece from the grease port, the red plug will screw into that spot. This Neverlube Diverter Assembly - 4720 is the correct replacement to make the conversion.

This appears to be the part I need. However, I don't know the part number and I noticed there is a whole to place the stem into unit . Where do I find the part number on the unit on my pool? I would love to upgrade to the no lube part. What is return policy if it does not fit.

Jandy 3-way Valve Binding

Written on 3/30/2019 by Steven R.

After a number of years struggling to turn a Jandy 3-way valve I needed to take action. The valve came apart easily. I removed the diverter component, cleaned the valve interior, and lubricated the diverter stem with pool silicon grease. I put the valve back together, and surprise it made no difference. I then came upon Inyo Pools valuable rebuild guide for this valve. I purchased replacement parts and rebuilt the valve. Wahlah, the valve was back to full functionality.
