We have a Hayward EC 45 filter with a damaged top. It is similar to a EC-10334P shown in your catalog (the one in the catalog is for a EC 40 filter). Does it fit an EC 45?

Kurt, Yes, this filter head (ecx10334p) fits both the EC40 and EC45 models.

Will the exc10334p fit our model EC-50 Series filter. I think this was purchased in the mid 1980s.

hi i have a ec50 the head has two cracks in it would this let de back into pool I've already changed the diaphragm

Hi Bill, A crack lid would not allow DE powder to get back into the pool. There is probably a tear in one or a few of the Flex Tubes (ECX1032) which would need to be replaced.

Hi, Bill. This particular head is used with the EC40 which is the bolt-on style model. If you have the clamp style model you will need p/n ECX5000BP.

I have a Hayward ec45a filter and then top has a crack and is leaking . How much is the cover compared to a whole new filter

Hi, George. The replacement Head is a little less that half the amount of a complete EC40AC or the EC50AC units.
