Why can't I remove/replace the bulkhead fitting without removing the sand?

Cracked elbow

Written on 6/27/2020 by Guest

You’re going to want to remove all the sand and loosen the nuts that that attach your multi port valve. I replaced the upper elbow and am going to have to back up and punt. The lower piece attaching to the multi port needs to be removed in order to replace the upper elbow. There is no work around.
