Why is this gasket so much cheaper than the Marlow gasket, same size? both fit?

The 5090-50 (O-260) gasket is the generic gasket for the Marlow pump and is made out of the same material as the Original Marlow gasket. Both gaskets fit the marlow pump. Based on the price difference I would definitely suggest the generic gasket.

I have a part # AM 374 7800 I don't know if this is a marlow part # if so will this o ring work as a replacement?

The correct gasket is part number AM3747800.
