This is the complete DE grid assembly used on the follwing Pentair, Purex, Pac-Fab and American Products 48 Sq. Ft DE filters.
The DE grids on the 48 Sq. Ft. filters measure 24" in length. This is the complete pre-assembled grid assembly which includes 8 DE grids, top manifild, bottom manifold, air relief strainer, extension and tie rod.
I have a pac fab nautilus nss-48 stainless de filter. Is this the correct grid assembly? Does it come with a new down tube and new down tube o-ring?

The part# 192326 Grid Assembly - Ns48 48 Sq Ft for Pac-Fab Nautilus Stainless D.E includes 8 DE grids (key#10x7 and key#9x1), bottom manifold/retainer grid (key#28),top manifold (key#7), air relief strainer (key#34), extension and tie rod (key15). Hi Tim, You would need the Piping Assembly, Upper Sh400 (194983), unfortunately this part is no longer available and there is not replacement.

Hi, I have a Pentair FNS48 Filter that is approximately 15 years old. The grids all appear to be holding up fine but are not holding DE - it's coming back into the pool. Pic attached showing filter prior to back-washing with many grids with little to no DE attached. Is there a life expectancy to the grid material? I don't see any cracks in the manifold or pipe etc. Any suggestion on what may be causing this? Thank you
Hi Tony, we normally see that DE grids will last about 5 years so if you still have the original grids then it would definitely time for a new set of grids.

My step by step instructions are as easy as can be . We took out the old filters and manifold and dropped in the replacement from inyopools. It fit like a glove. I couldn't be happier. Thank you inyopools

Received first assembly in pieces in the box but at no cost they shipped it back and replaced it. No questions and no hassles. The one that did arrive intact worked great! All the helpful tips on line are great too. Will definitely use INYO again now that I've found them.
