The Photo of this part does not look exactly like the rod I am trying to replace. Mine is about thirty yrs old and looks to have a smaller rolled lip and an O ring at the top. Is this the proper replacement?

Hi Self, The Holding Rod (512) will be the correct rod for the Harmsco Cartridge Filter model # BF84 & BF96.
