My dog chewed the knob off pretty flush with housing, how does the stem itself come out. Is the stem just pressed in??

The stem itself is simply pressed into the Hayward CL200 chlorinator, so you may want try some needle nose pliars to see if you can pull out the broken stem.

Our knob has a fairly large wing on one side and a small protrusion on the other side. Which part should be pointing to the number we want for chlorine use? Thanks (seems like a dumb question...last person to work on this pool didn't leave very good directions.)

The Control Assembly Knob that have the large wing is side that you would adjust to the number that would want your chlorinator to be set at.

My CL220 flow control knob has a slow leak. Believe it needs a new o ring. Does it take one or two o rings and where can I get them? I removed the knob and my unit which is more than 10 years old has one o ring.Thank you.

Hello Tom- There are two o-rings on the knob control. I checked and they no longer sell just the two o-rings by themselves. You would have to purchase the Knob, control Assembly W/o-ring (clx200pa) part # 2110-08a.
