I would like to know if this assembly comes complete with center pipe and 10 laterals?

Yes this item includes the center pipe and 10 laterals (Laterals - item # 4800-15, mfg # SX200-Q), The Hub and Center Pipe measures 19" Tall.

Ruthie, I don't think that this part has change to the point that it will fit the Hayward Swim Pro SW-236T Sand Filter.

what's the difference between swx236da2 and swx256da2?

Hi Victor, The difference between the two lateral assembly would be the size of the assembly which is for two different model sand filters. The SWX236DA2 is for the SW236T model sand filter and the SWX256DA2 is for the SW256T model sand filter.

Good Afternoon, I have a model SW-236T Swim Pro sand filter. Why am i getting sand returning back into the pool? I just replaced the 6 port valve because the handle stem broke off. I also replaced the sand in the filter. 200 lbs

Typically the reasons why sand returns back to the pool is because of the spider gasket in the multiport valve or the laterals. Since you have already replaced the valve then I would advise inspecting the entire standpipe assembly including the laterals for any damage.

We have a Swim Pro Sand Filter and need to replace the assembly inside because the pipe is cracked and some of the laterals are loose. Problem is I don't know the number because it's worn off. I do know it holds 250 lbs. of sand. Can you help?

Hi, LeAnne. A SwimPro filter that requires 250 lbs of sand used the SWX256DA2 Lateral Assembly.

Pros: helpfull staff, fast shipping

Was not really sure if this was the right part as I am a hobbist not a pool mechanic.. but with the help of the tech support team, John we were able to detremine that it was in fact the correct part and now the filter is working as if it were brand new!! No more sand in te pool just clean fresh water thanks again.. Bill J
