There is a small piece screwed into the pump lock ring face that I believe is some type of stop clip maybe? Is this part available by itself without purchasing the whole lock ring? Upon disassembly of the pump this clip broke. Please advise. Thank you.

Hi, Fred. Unfortunately, that part is built into the Motor Lock Ring, its not sold as a separate part.

I have the SP4010x15NS how do I release or remove the Motor Lock Ring (spx4000k) from the housing?

If you are standing over the motor, look at the bottom left of the locking ring towards the motor. You will need to lift the handle/lever up to uncouple.
