I'm not sure if this O-ring (226) will fit your Utilitech strainer Lid, would recommend calling Utilitech or check where the pup was purchased.

Hello Bruce. The O-Ring, 2-1/4" ID is the Hayward Multiport Valve SP710XR50 Union O-Ring. Attached please find the Hayward ProGrid Filter exploded parts diagram. Please reference part key 29 for verification. This o-ring is compatible with various Hayward Multiport Valves including the SP710XR50.

I wasn't looking forward to replacing my 30 year old Jandy valve. It would require repiping the entire system. Arghh. The o rings fit perfectly. The magic lube made the replacement easy the reassembly was almost too encouraging. I went on to replace the one rings and the impeller on the pump. Probably saved $500 on labor.

Quick delivery,-BUT-,could have been shipped cheaper-. I ordered o-rings and they were shipped in a med.size box... costing $6.95, I just think they could have popped them in an envelope and saved some shipping money.
