the 3"X1/8" slide plate with screw goes over which hole, , the hole from the bottom drain, or the hole to the filter, and how much should you cover the hole, thank you

Hi, Louis. This plate can go over either port of the skimmer based on how much flow is required. the hole coverage is based on how much flow is required for the application.
