We have a possible leaking main drain and would like to know if this plug could be used to plug the main drain until we can afford to fix the leak. Thanks
P.S.- The drain pipe line is a 40 gauge pvc, 2" pipe

Pat, The plug will fit 2" plumbing. Please be sure to keep the valve for the main drain closed while the plug is installed.

Your price for this item ($17.99) appears obscene. I came here because I thought Leslie's was ripping me off for $5.95 a plug. Could it be that your posted price is a typo?

Thomas, we apologize for the inconvenience, this is not an error. The price listed is indeed the price for the Plug, Winterizing, 2" Pipe #11 (11tapered).

Make pool closing efficient and easy. I would highly recommend using plugs like this in your closing to avoid pipe bursting surprised when open it.
