Hi Joan! For the DE3620, the correct replacement rod you need is the Hayward Retainer Rod 36 Sq Ft 22". This rod will hold the grid assembly together for the filter. The hardware needed will be the Retainer Nut, 5/16" and the Washer Ss 5/16"id X 3/4"od.
