Retrofit Kit for Aqualumin (78886000) To install Aqualumin III light into a pre-1994 Aqualumin bracket.
I am replacing my aqualumin II with the aqualumin III do I need this rerofit kit? What else do I need?

Hi Cher, The Retrofit Kit for Aqualumin (78886000) is not needed if you're going from a Aqualumin II to III light. The existing Wall Mounting Bracket (619547) will work with both Aqualumin II & III.

My pool was install in 2002. I need to replace my aqualumin light. I have no ideal if it is the aqualumin 1 or 2. Do I need this retrofit kit also when I purchase the aqualumin 3?

Hi Keith, If you currently have the Aqualumin II then you do not need this kit when installing the Aqualumin III. If you have the Aqualumin or Aqualumin I then you would need this kit when upgrading to the Aqualumin III. Based on the year your pool was installed most likely you have an Aqualumin II but to be on the safe side you could order this kit along with the Aqualumin III light and if you determine you don't need the kit then you could always return it.
