Strainer Pot, Body 3 Hp (r0338305)
I have an HHP1.5 pool pump. It is a Jandy Teledyne Laars. The pump pot has developed a slight hairline split and is lightly spraying water only when on. The motor is still fine. I see that there is a pump pot available, however for the 3HP model. The part above that says "obsolete". The serial # for this pump is A00FJ0315. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hello - I spoke to Zodiac Technical ( who now own Jandy ) and the tech said that while the strainer pot would bolt up to your existing system, it is not something they recommend. The inlet and outlet are 3 inches as well as the inside of the pot is larger. Their suggestion was for a new pump. If you wish to speak to them, their number is 800-822-7933.
