Is Praher SM10-A0 the same as the e-50-s1B diverter/assembly?

Hi Brad, the SM10-A0 is the complete multiport valve and the E-50-S1B is the top half of the Praher SM10-A0. So if you need to replace the top half of your Praher SM10-A0 valve then this is the part for you.

Correction to my request for a diverter for a Tagelus (Pentair) sand filter - I said
a 5 spoke diverter when it is actually a 3 spoke diverter I need. I am only talking
about the gasket the diverter. Sorry - thank you

Jack, Please provide the model number on the valve. There are a few different valves that fit on the Tagelus filter.

Is this the complete assembly? Meaning can I just take the nuts and screws off, remove the entire top using the handle, and install the new one? It's got the spring and selector plate already assembled correct?

Hi Tim, Yes, this Top Assy is complete as pictured, the only part you may have to purchase separately will be the Diverter Gasket.

I removed the top of the valve and attempted to hand turn the valve while it was in my hand. This too proved that it was very hard to turn. I inspected the valve cover and noticed a bit of discoloration at the top of the spring which may have indicated some type of corrosion. I contacted Inyo Pool and gave them the number on the valve cover and got the correct replacement part. When it arrived, I removed the defective top and replaced with the new!

I was trying to find a replacement for the top assembly on my diverter valve but was not having any success. I took a picture of the product needed and then emailed Inyo in the morning and received a reply that afternoon with the correct product. Inyo also provided me the correct diverter gasket AND glue that I needed to secure the gasket. I would've not known about the glue had they not provided such great customer service. Thanks, guys!
