Hello Al, Depending on what year your Northstar pump is the strainer o-ring will differ. If the Pump is older than 2003 the part number for the o-ring is (4664-14). If its newer than 2003 The part number is 5112-033.

Have an old Hayward pump. 7.5 KW 230/460 3 phase motor. Ser #103SA19139 or 189. O-ring is definitely wrong on strainer cover. Very skinny and was torn. The hold down bolts were so tight I had to use 4-in channel-locks to loosen them. Everything is worn off the ID plate. No model # just Ser #. I measure the O-ring to be 8.25-in. Should not have to over-tighten these plastic hand bolts. Do not know if pump is pre-2003 or later. Will an 8.25 1/4-1n thick O-ring work?

I need a pump strainer cover o-ring for a Hayward pool pump. My flter and waterfall pumps are the same housing, though different horsepower. One is a SP4015X20NS and the other is SP4010X15NS. At the present time I have moved the cover from the 15 to the 10 and they seem to be interchangeable. The gasket is a T profile, 7.25 ID, 8.0 OD. Pool was put in in 2005. What PN do I need? Thanks in advance..

Please use the schematic Hayward Northstar 1998 to 2007 to order the O-Ring. The pump offers two types depending on the year of manufacturing. This can usually be determined by the date of installation. To fully confirm the year of manufacturing, you may contact Hayward with the serial number at 1.888.429.9273.
