I have a Hayward SP1480 & I need to replace the half that contains the Ball (not the spcket portion). Can I use the ball portion of the SP1481 with the socket portion of the SP1480 or do I need a different socket like the SP1484 which is black? Thsnks

Hi Frank, Unfortunately the only part available on the S1480 is the Nut. I would suggest purchasing the Entire SP1480 Union and use any parts off of it that you need and the remainder of the union you can have on hand for spare parts.

Is the SP 1484 union Full Flo 1 1/2"hayward Wg suitable to connect a Hayward SP 2607 x 10 super pump to the diam

Hi Guillermo, Yes this is correct, the 1.5" male portion of the union will thread into the Hayward Super Pump and the 1.5" slip portion of the union will accept your 1.5" plumbing.

Is the SP portion of this union made for PVC pipe (glue required) or standard flexible pipe and clamps?
