I need parts for my filter valve. When I look at the filter parts breakdown, it gives me different choices. How do I know which one is the one I need?

In order to locate the correct parts we will need to know the model number of the filter valve. Two identical filters can have two different valves. Typically the valve model will be located on the label of the valve. If there is no model number on the valve, you can try to see if there are any part numbers on the valve itself. Once you've located you valve model you can check out our >Filter Valve Parts.

I want to replace my Multiport valve, it is an American Multiport Valve attached to an American Titan Vertical Grid Filter model #582090. What valve should I order, also I want to replace the unions and o-rings hooking up to the filter.

If the plumbing going into your American Titan Vertical Grid Filter is 1.5" then you would require this valve here http://www.inyopools.com/Products/07501352028073.htm and if the plumbing is 2" then you would require this multiport valve here http://www.inyopools.com/Products/07501352028074.htm you may view the parts schematic here for the unions on your filter http://www.inyopools.com/pool_parts_titan_stainless_steel_d_e_.aspx

I've got a vertical American Stainless Steel DE Filter with 1 1/2" Unions. The multiport is leaking from some hairline cracks in the base - looks hopeless. It's label says American Multiport 987003. I've seen that some say the direct replacement was the 50150111 (slip) or 50160111 (threaded) but that's it is obsolete. What's my best option for the easiest replacement?

Hi, JB. This MPV Assembly - 50181212 is your best option with the pre-plumbed ports.
