I need to replace my volute, but it is plumbed with pvc coming up from out of the ground going to both the top and side ports. It doesn't have any hoses or fittings that are shown to attach to this volute. Will this part work for that setup and what pvc connector fittings would I need? I can provide a photo for you to look at.

Hi PMM, This can be plumbed using 3/4" MPT fittings which can be found at your local hardware store.

In side the Volute there is a bushing. Do you need this part .It is not listed in the parts.

I am not sure what bushing you are referring to, are you talking about the shaft seal? If you are not sure, please attach a picture so I know what bushing you are referring to.

My older Polaris Booster pump was leaking

Written on 12/1/2016 by Donald E G.

1. I purchased this Polaris volute.
2. Cut off power to my motor.
3. Removed pump from plumbing.
4. Uninstalled old cracked Polaris booster pump housing.
5. Replaced old pump housing with this housing.
6. Placed pump back into plumbing.
7. Turned back on power.
8. No more leaks, my Polaris cleaner is working as good as new.
