I acquired a 1989 vintage hot tub. The hayward Power Flo III pump housing cover is cracked. Am I better off replacing the pump or trying to seal the crack with a marine epoxy?

So using any type of sealant on a pump housing is only a temporary fix. Due to all of the temperature changes and water pressure, those leaks inevitably will start again. Sooner or later you will need to replace the housing or complete pump. I would replace one or the other.
