Hello, They would be the same motor. Just alternative part numbers.

Does the 2hp motor come with the 4 long bolts (about 8 1/4" long)
 Reply

A  Answered on 6/6/2018 by InyoPools Product Specialist Hector F.

It sounds like you are referring to the thru bolts that run completely through the entire motor so yes those bolts do come with these motors.

Hello John, You can purchase the entire matrix pump but they don't make them in the 2hp anymore. They have it available in a 1.5 hp dual speed. http://www.inyopools.com/Products/02200001004959.htm

Like Joe's post on 822/16, I have SP1520Z1EFTC but it has broken down. What is the replacement motor for this type?
 Reply

A  Answered on 7/12/2017 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

Hi Chuck, this is the proper replacement motor however the timer does not come with the motor, you will need to use your old motor. If your timer is broken then unfortunately Hayward has discontinued the timer so you will need to go without a timer.

Hi I have Haywood pump with a 2 speed switch that is a 2.0-.25 HP MagneTek century AC Motor that I need to replace. Details on the label indicate Volts 115 AMPS; 16.4/4.4; HZ 60 and RPM 3450/1725. CAT PART 7-193076-01 type CSM. This SPX1520Z1ESC pump looks like it but I would like to be sure before spending $260. Can you confirm this is the correct pool pump replacement?
 Reply

A  Answered on 6/15/2017 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

Hi Ed, This motor is a little different than your motor, you have a dual speed motor and this is a single speed motor. Your part # of 7-193076-01 cross references to this BN50V1 1.5 HP Dual Speed Replacement Motor the reason the replacement HP does match the 2 HP rating on your Hayward motor is because Hayward used a SPL HP rating where the BN50V1 motor uses a traditional HP rating. The SPL 2 HP rating is equivalent to a 1.5 HP Traditional Rating. The BN50V1 would be the proper replacement for you. We would also suggest replacing your Haward Power Flo Shaft Seal when you replace your motor.

Hi John,  This motor us the correct replacement but it does not come with the Timer Microprocessor (SP1500FT), you will have to reuse yours or purchase another one.

What is Service Factor?
 Reply

A  Answered on 1/11/2012 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

Service Factor(SF) is a multiplier that when multiplied by the horsepower of the motor indicates the total permissible horsepower loading that may be carried when the motor is operating at rated voltage and frequency. The most important thing to remember when replacing a motor is that the replacement motor's horsepower times its service factor must be equal to or greater than the original motor's horsepower times its service factor. The Service Factor rating can be found on the motor label. See Step 4 of our How to Read a Pool Motor Label guide.
